LensCrafters in Monroeville has a huge selection of frames to choose from. Kat was very friendly and helpful. She is knowledgeable and professional but still showed that she genuinely cares. We will return when we need new glasses.

Not happy waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. This was for my special needs brother, who became increasingly anxious. This extended wait put me 30 minutes behind for the rest of my day. 😡

I don’t normally leave reviews for companies, unless I am very upset or very happy with the service I received. In this case, unfortunately, I am very upset. I had an appointment set for several weeks. For the few days prior to the appointment, I was inundated with phone calls, text messages, and emails in order to confirm my appointment and to ensure that I complete the pre-appointment paperwork. This appointment was scheduled on a day that I had taken off of work, so it is difficult for me to have to reschedule my appointments in the event that it is needed. After having to rush to pick up my child from school and return them home before having to double back to the LensCrafters, I arrived to find out that they are having technical difficulties and appointments are being delayed by an hour. While I kept my composure when talking with the attendant, I was raging inside because it is not easy for me to schedule these appointments, and after having been constantly reached out to about this original appointment yet they couldn’t reach out to me about the technical delay that they were having really made me mad. I have gone to LensCrafters for my optical needs for several years, specifically at this location. I’ve never had any issues in the past and neither has my friends or family who go here as well. However, this incident really surprises me of how the situation handled. I am not mad at the employee who spoke with me, as he was very apologetic, as well as empathetic with the fact that this was a severe delay.Yes, they did offer to reschedule for me and they have offered some sort of compensation ( I’ll be at I don’t know what that would be), but I feel that it should be made aware of their inability to reach out and worn incoming patients or customers who have appointments.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
