This review is for the front desk girl because she was incredibly unfriendly and had a frown on her face as soon as I walked in for my appointment. I will not be scheduling any future appointments due solely to the people at the front desk. She ruined my entire day with her disposition and I'm sure she's done it to other patients as well.
I went to attend an appointment 5 min prior to make sure I didn't need to fill out paperwork but the doctors office doesn't open strictly until 10 so you just have to wait out in the cold even though they can see you. I work at a medical office and we always open 5-10 min prior for patients to come in and begin their paperwork especially if they have an apt right when it opens. In addition, I noted the website said they accept most insurances but when I gave my Tricare to the front desk they said they could not pull me up in Eye med and also that if they rebilled it would probably be out of network....all this said when they stated they didn't even know what insurance I have. Never had had an issue with the benefits number being used. Meanwhile, the girl acted like everything I asked of her was annoying and as if she was doing me some sort of favor. She also acted like I was stupid and when I tried to make small talk to avoid the awkward silence, she ignored me and acted like she was in a fowl mood. I would highly recommend this office reconsider who they put at their front desk as they are the face of your office...the first person who people meet. As someone who has worked at various offices at the front desk I am appalled how so many places appear to just choose anyone.

I visited JH Broadus OD & Associate for an eye exam and to get a new prescription for contacts.
My doctor was Dr. Selvey, he was amazing knowledgeable, and helped me address my astigmatism that I didn’t know I had and educated me on what it was in how it developed.
The reason why this review isn’t five stars, is due to the two front desk, receptionist. Specifically the older lady with the glasses and the young lady with the blonde sides in her hair.
They did not make me feel welcome and also made me feel like I was bothering them when I ask questions about how much a year supply of contacts would cost compared to six months.
When I first booked my appointment, I wasn’t told that I needed to arrive with my contacts for the follow up and they treated me like I was kind of dumb for showing up without them (Admittedly it probably was but the doctor said it was just to make sure that I liked the contact and because I like them I didn’t know I needed to wear them in) so I rescheduled. But again, they just weren’t kind or understanding.
I had asked if I could go ahead and order my contacts online once my year supply runs out and they told me I would have to call them…
While I like the doctor, I really don’t want to go through the receptionist again just to book another appointment or refill my contacts because they just gave off a very snippy rude attitude.
