I recently booked an appointment for my six-and-a-half-year-old child for February 13th at 11:20 AM following a referral from a school nurse. However, I received a call on February 12th informing me that the appointment was canceled because Dr. Nguyen stated she "does not see children" and advised that we visit a pediatric ophthalmologist. Your website explicitly states that the minimum age for this location is six years old. There is no mention that patient age is at the doctor's discretion or that certain providers refuse to see children. As a concerned parent, I find it unacceptable to be turned away before the appointment even began, especially when your office markets services for children and sells children's eyewear. I would like to commend your receptionist, Amy, who was incredibly kind and professional while handling my frustration. However, due to this experience, you have lost a potential customer for both my child and myself. I hope you will update your website or internal policies to ensure other parents do not have this same experience. Thank you, Keara Bellita
