Easiest appointment I've ever had,. My appointment was at 2:30, I showed up about 15 minutes early to fill out the new patient paperwork and I was on my way home by 2:50. The staff was very helpful with picking out frames and explaining the differences of lens I could get. Definitely my new eye specialist.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cornerstone Care Vision Center of Hopwood
What is Primary Care?
Primary care is a branch of medicine that is focused on disease prevention, maintenance of health issues, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. A primary care physician (PCP) will coordinate all aspects of your health care, both mental and physical. They will prescribe any needed medications, and refer you to a specialist when necessary.
Why do I Need a Primary Care Physician?
It’s crucial for everyone to have a primary care physician, even if you are healthy and rarely get sick. When you build a relationship with a PCP, they get to know your personal and family health history, and are able manage and identify virtually any health issues that arise. It’s important to identify illness early on before it becomes a serious problem. A PCP also provides vaccines, immunizations, cancer screenings, and general advice for improving your quality of life.
What’s the Difference Between Family Medicine, Internal Medicine & Primary Care?
Primary care physicians fall into three different categories: family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. A family medicine doctor is both a pediatrician and an internal medicine doctor, caring for children and adults. An internal medicine doctor cares for adults only, while a pediatrician cares for children only.
