- RRR ROct 23, 20231.0I tried to refill my son’s medication pharmacy tech incorrectly assumed we only had medicade. ( we have private insurance but the idiot tech David wouldn’t listen) he refused to even take my other insurance card then lied to the pharmacist saying we only had one card and needed authorization. This is incorrect. I became upset because he would not listen and kept mans-planing why I needed an authorization. He also said “we are doing you a favor filling this, I can decline to refill you meds”. I called the store manager and she said pharmacies are separate and they can do what they like. Wow?!?!? This is a part of your store. This is the Giant Pharmacy. Not the independent we do what we want pharmacy. I found another pharmacy who listened took my second card and we are all set. I just feel bad for anyone who really needs this pharmacy. I’m also never shopping at this giant again.
