This is with regards to my visit to the Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA Patient Center on February 2, 2026. When I arrived at 10:00 for my 10:10 appointment, an ENTIRE FAMILY of walk-in people was just ahead of me and were finishing their walk-in check in at the kiosk. I checked in by about 10:01 am. My appointment was at 10:10 am. Other than that family of people, I was the only other person in the waiting room. Instead of taking me FIRST because I had an appointment, the SOLE EMPLOYEE WORKING IN THE CENTER took that entire family (three men and a woman). I was taken approximately 45 minutes AFTER my apointment time. In other words, rather than taking people with appointments scheduled first, the employee made people with appointments wait as if they were walk-ins. Needless to say, I was not happy, especially since I made the appointment because there were other places that I needed to go and time was of the essence. This made me late for other appointments. I was also unimpressed with the understaffing here. There was only ONE PERSON WORKING, and the waiting room filled up with people waiting while the walk-in family was being treated. If appointments are scheduled in advance, there should be at least two people working (just as in the Londonderry Road Patient Center), one person to take care of people with appointments and one person to deal with walk-in patients. If this cannot be done, then you should not allow appointments at the Linglestown Road Patient Center and let the public know that there are only walk-ins at that office so that busy people like me will avoid wasting time by going there.
