  It took me so long to find somewhere in Harrisburg that takes Geisinger insurance. I walked in and they treated me almost immediately, answering all the questions I had and giving me the prescription I needed fast. All the staff are really kind. Will definitely be coming back here again if needed.

  I would love to know why they never told me my blood pressure. It's always pristen. They let me leave there not knowing I had stage two hypertension. I only found out reading results on line and other stuff with my urine I was unaware of. That's scary they didn't tell me

  I walked into the office and it smelled like a walking pack of cigarettes and immediately threw me off. I had taken my daughter here after a very rough night. The front office was very short, rude and unhelpful as I had my 11 month old with me and told me to fill out their check in information via a QR code. She stated she wouldn’t help me until I had issues with the check in process. After 45 minutes of battling with the online check in (which doesn’t work when taking photos for your insurance card, so don’t bother!), she finally acknowledged me again. Shortly after I was placed into a room because the check in process was aggravating and I asked to be taken to a room with my daughter. I waited over an hour to be seen by someone after her vitals were taken (again, no compassion for a sleep deprived mother or irritable child). A nurse practitioner came in, did all the standard procedures and then because she didn’t have a fever after I explained I had given her Motrin and her temp was still 99.8 (low grade), we were told to try over the counter meds continued and follow up if she developed more severe symptoms or breathing issues… all the frustration led to being told everything I already knew along with the lack of compassion, it just rubbed me the wrong way. This facility is also not equipped to treat young pediatrics (no scale for infants, acknowledgement of some staff being “willing” but not eager to treat pediatrics and again no compassion towards anyone). I will be following up with my pediatrician and again, I normally wouldn’t go to an urgent care but I was worried about my daughter. I hope they can improve in case the situation arises again.
