I was told when I arrived for my appointment that the retinal imagining was now required and I had no choice but to pay the $39 on top of my $15 copay. My son and I have appointments together so instead of costing me $30 it now costs me $108 each visit for us both. If they choose to have all teledoc visits, that's fine but my copay should still be $15 a person, not $54. They should not need to charge more if they do not even have a doctor in office. I will be looking for another optometrist because of this.

The girl behind the counter just kept telling me if your contacts feel comfortable to you instead of this is the prescription you need. The first tella person I saw was drinking from a coffee cup and the second told me my eyes were two different prescriptions but I was to choose which i preferred instead having a true doctor exam with a real prescription.
