They took the time to explain every option and made sure I felt comfortable and confident in my choice. The quality of the wheelchair is outstanding—durable, comfortable, and easy to maneuver. You can really tell they prioritize both function and independence for their customers. Delivery was smooth and on time, and they made sure everything was properly adjusted before I started using it. What truly stood out was the customer service. Everyone I interacted with was kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make the entire process stress-free, especially our tech John. What a great guy. He explains everything so thoroughly during delivery. It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism with such a personal touch. He speaks to us in a calming manner, is always very prepared and doesn’t hesitate to spend as much time as needed. Bonus- he calls or texts if he is running late and even gives an estimated time to arrive at our house. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and dedication.

They showed up and couldn't fix it so they ordered different parts. They showed up again with the wrong parts. They got the parts in and was scheduled to show up today. 9-4-25 but never showed up, never called and never returned my phone calls. the my Numotion app now says the technician reported missing parts but still nobody informed me. I had national seating and mobility when I lived in buck's County and they were excellent. Now I'm in carbon County and really hope this National seating and mobility will take me as a client in the future.

Why must I see a doctor to get a wheelchair from NSM?
Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?
Contact your local NSM branch and notify us of any changes that may affect the proper fit and function of your chair.
Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
