- KLKarissa LawrenceJun 26, 20192.0While the staff seem nice enough, I do have an issue with doctors offices that do not verify your coverage BEFORE providing services so you have the ability to discuss your options with the facility. Despite taking all my information prior to the appointment, they waited until it was time for me to make payment to run my insurance. Not being able to find my insurance in their system, I was told they would try running my insurance again and get back to me — it’s been 5 days now and I haven’t heard anything. I have called my insurance company and no one has called to verify. I ended up having to pay the full amount of my appointment out of pocket. I understand some policies require this, but with out the verification, I have no idea if I’ll be reimbursed. Very frustrating experience.
