  Charity is quite possibly the kindest healthcare worker I’ve ever had take my blood. She put me completely at ease. Thank you Charity!

  This was my first visit. The doctor taking my blood asked me if I was pregnant, and I was. She kept trying to convince me to keep the baby after I said I was most likely not going to keep it. Mind you, it is no doctor’s business getting involved in personal decisions and choices. She then proceeded to stick my arm, missed my vein, pressed the air out of my arm which I heard and my boyfriend across the room heard. She stuck my arm TWICE. Got at least a quarter of tube filled of blood and the proceeded to throw it away. She moved to my other arm which was easier for her. I was poked a total of 3 times when it should have only been once. This was a horrible experience for me. I am only 18 years old, no parents involved, and she would not stop trying to convince me to keep a child I did not want. I ended up miscarrying a few hours later.
