Welcome to Greater Pittsburgh Orthopaedic Associates (GPOA), Pittsburgh’s oldest continuously-operating orthopaedic surgical associates. Our goal is to provide compassionate orthopaedic care to patients of all ages for an extensive variety of conditions.
GPOA’s approach to care involves using state-of-the-art technology to keep our treatment effective and cutting-edge, no matter your condition. We also strive to make our care as minimally-invasive as possible: this means we’ll never insist on surgery if there is a less invasive alternative, and we’re always applying the latest technology and surgical techniques to minimize recovery time, cost, and post-surgical pain.
I was treated very well and people were friendly and efficient. The doctor was very informative and took his time to explain my situation and how to elevate my issues The only hitch was in most offices is the redundancy in paperwork

First let me say everyone at the Cranberry Office was so nice and helpful. Dr. DiTano was warm and attentive. With only a couple of questions he diagnosed my pain cause as something I hadn't even considered, but as soon as he said it, I knew immediately that was correct. Then with little fuss we discussed my CT problem and I was scheduled for surgery to fix it. I then was given the most complete information packet I've ever received prior to any surgery, major or minor as this will be. Incredible difference from the first carpel tunnel surgery done somewhere else with another surgeon.
