Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with billing and customer service. The lab staff was rude and condescending, and the billing system is completely flawed. They are unable to properly process two insurance plans and routinely misapply payments. I was repeatedly asked to pay charges that had already been paid, yet no one could clearly explain what the charges were for or even review payment history.
Speaking with a supervisor was no help. She spoke in circles, provided incorrect billing information, and when it became clear she was wrong, she shifted the blame to me—claiming I hadn’t provided the correct information. My husband listened to the entire conversation, and I was very clear and accurate throughout. She continued giving incorrect information and became defensive when I challenged it (because I was correct).
They also refused to process a test due to a date issue, despite the order clearly stating it was valid through 1/1/26. I had no trouble having the same test completed at Labcorp.
To make matters worse, their pricing is significantly higher than Labcorp, which we have now found to be professional, friendly, efficient, and far more affordable.
Based on the current 3.5-star rating and similar comments, it’s clear I’m not the only one who has had problems at this location. In hindsight, I’m actually glad for the poor experience because it led us to Labcorp—saving us time, frustration, and money.
Avoid Quest at Brookwood if at all possible.
