  They have been very helpful in fining a caregiver that was a good companion and fit the personality of my mother-in-law. They have always been helpful in any request we have had of them.

  Mom’s first aide worked very well with her but soon left to get some additional training. Her second aide was not especially helpful. Then she started working with Katherine, who stayed on for several months until mom went into Assisted Living. Katherine was always cheerful and talkative, and enjoyed driving mom to her appointments and running errands with her. Mom was especially pleased that she always had something to talk about with Katherine, and that Katherine was diligent in helping with home chores. The only area that Katherine avoided was cooking, although mom enjoyed showing her how to prepare meals and Katherine was receptive. Mom came to look forward to the days when Katherine was on-duty, and the companionship and assistance with chores and driving definitely brightened her outlook. Our family members are very grateful to Katherine and Comfort Keepers for making mom’s transition into Assisted Living a smooth one. We recommend Comfort Keepers without reservation, and encourage people to let your loved one find that special aide that can easily relate to them, like Katherine could with mom.
