- BABrooke AbbruzzeseAug 31, 20255.0Home Instead has been very helpful in my quest to keep my husband, who has dementia, at home. It took a while to find the perfect match of caregivers for a patient who is bed bound and non communicative. In particular, the caregivers Diane and Dana have taught me, the primary caregiver, how to reposition the patient to prevent bed sores, helping him eat, and keep him clean. Diane is the master of bed baths, she bathes my husband twice a week and helps trim his hair and beard. Dana has learned to do deal with the temper outbursts and helps a lot with laundry, dishes, and tidiness. I am grateful for their help and the professionalism of the Home Instead company.

Beverly is amazing as our care provider. Between her companionship, caregiving, and helping with tasks around the house, my mom always enjoys her time with Beverly and tells me about their visits. They each individualized my mom’s care and put us at ease, so that we were able to have blocks of time to focus on our own self-care. Having them scheduled on a regular basis made caring for my mom much more manageable. I could tell that they genuinely cared about my mom and my family.
