I ended up finding the AirPods a day later and tried to return them. The electronics manager said because of krogers contact with Apple they can’t return open products, this was not posted in the store, on the receipt or online. Other retailers have no issue taking Apple returns but it seems to be yet another deceptive policy that Kroger has put in place. Buyer beware!
