  I was conned out of spending $18.00 for socks for a free class where I was expected to lay on the floor without a mat. I explained that I had issues with germs prior to purchasing the socks and was assured that they use mats at the end of the class so I agreed to purchase the socks and join the class knowing that I could use my own sanitizing wipes to extra disinfect the mat. I was trusting the instructor however within the first five minutes of the class we were instructed to get on thd floor without a mat. I left the class after anxiety got the better of me. I left an email explaining my displeasure with feeling mislead and requested a refund for the socks. I was told that I should have asked for a mat. So I was expected to interrupt an already uncomfortable and intimidating situation to ask for a mat after I had already very clearly expressed my concerns prior to purchasing the socks. Had I been told that I was welcome to use a mat for the fist part of the class where we are expected to lay on the floor then there would not have been an issue and I would gladly have taken a mat, but I was NOT told that during the warm up class members are expected to lay on the floor. No, simply unacceptable business practice! On addition to the company's response to my review... The fact that they stated that grip socks aren't a requirement is contrary to my experience since I was told I HAD to purchase the socks to take the class. So someone is flat out lying!!!! I paid $18.00 for socks I didn't need??? I had my own personal socks that were perfectly clean. These people are deceitful!!!!!!!!

  Jen did a great job teaching class! Ashley is super friendly. Store is really clean.

  Purre Barre in the Pearl is the first Barre studio I have tried and I absolutely loved it! The teachers were energetic, friendly and provided just the right amount of assistance. I was guided through a well thought out and vigorous class! Highly recommend this studio for both new Barre practitioners and experts alike!
