Was super helpful and really a friendly happy guy. He was tech savy, thorough and easy to understand what some people may find a bit confusing if not used to some tech. He fit me into my chair by back, arm and head adjustments to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be and we even almost high fived!
Good experience, hope everyone lucks out getting this guy and this company, everyone worked a long time dealing with my insurance and jumping through hoops to make sure I got the chair that suits me best, make sure it does what I needed, little modifications meant just for me and my overall comfortɓ and all I had to do is recieve the chair and start enjoying.
Thanks,^

Kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to get the job done, Cindy is an expert in her field with extraordinary compassion. Technician Zane was fun to work with and knew how to make my new chair fit perfectly. All went smoothly and couldn't have been better.

National Seating and Mobility coordinated the purchase of my power wheelchair. After a few months of use, I had the ROHO cushion tear in such a manner that the air bladder could not be patched with the materials provided. National Seating worked closely with the manufacturer in getting me a new bladder at no cost to me. They went the extra mile in expediting a timely solution and I am very grateful.

What makes NSM the preferred choice for obtaining mobility solutions?
At NSM, we are uniquely positioned to search hundreds of sources for the precise components needed to create a chair that is made specifically to meet the needs of each client. Each chair can be designed for maximum comfort and ease and will provide the specific therapeutic benefits prescribed for you by the health care team. But what really sets NSM apart is our approach. How can I work with NSM for my mobility needs?
National Seating & Mobility is a member of your rehabilitation health care team. We work with your physician, nurses and therapists to provide a one-of-a-kind mobility solution customized to your needs and preferences. Because we work in a partnership with your health care team, we require a referral from them in order to be your mobility provider. To help ensure your choice of NSM, you should request that your physician and/or therapist select us as your provider of choice.
How long does it take to get a new power wheelchair from NSM?
NSM strives to complete each timeline phase as quickly as possible without compromising any step in the process. Please refer to this page for the full timeline. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Why must I see a doctor to get a wheelchair from NSM?
Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?
Contact your local NSM branch and notify us of any changes that may affect the proper fit and function of your chair.
Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
Do I have a choice of which mobility solutions company to use?
The choice of a wheeled mobility supplier is yours. Discuss your decision with your physician and therapist.
