I walked in (I usually do online pickup any pharmacy I go to as I have pretty intense social anxiety). The pick up and drop off sides are marked off making it seem there are two lines. I told the young gentleman to help all pick up people and I’d wait because I had price questions with a few prescriptions. This was after he told me I could sit and wait there. Then some dude in a lab coat, dark hair, and glasses walks around and tells me that I can actually go wait in line. It was not a fun experience for me as I have never done this before. Instead of waiting on the other side I just left. Correcting or telling someone where they should go can be done in such a better way. I was told once I was alright waiting there and then rudely told to get in the back of the line. Customer service is not practiced here and I will never return even in an emergency id rather go to Fred Meyer.

I would like to share very positive feedback about this Safeway Pharmacy. Since the new staff started working, the pharmacy standards have clearly improved. There is a very positive, supportive, and helpful atmosphere, and you can visually see the difference, the pharmacy is much cleaner and more organized than before.
They answered my phone calls every single time I called over the past month, and my medications were always ready when promised. On a couple of occasions, my prescriptions were not ready, but it was not their fault. The team handled the situation professionally, resolved the issue quickly, and made sure I was taken care of.
I truly appreciate the entire pharmacy team and the pharmacy manager for their excellent service, professionalism, and dedication. Thank you for all that you do.

This pharmacy is consistently difficult to deal with. It takes multiple calls just to reach a person, and medications are often not filled as promised. Calling ahead feels required.
I called at 3:00pm to confirm three medications were ready. I was told one would be restocked at 5:00pm and that as long as I arrived before closing, I could pick up all three. I asked if it could be filled at 5pm for pickup the next day due to work, and was told I’d have to call again.
I arrived at 7:52pm. Arya (pharmacist) initially handed me only two medications, despite the system showing three. After another employee returned from break and was asked to look, Arya suddenly referenced my earlier call and claimed I was required to be there by 7:50pm, which I was never told. Arya then refused to fill the medication because it was now after 8:00pm, closed the gates, and would not page a supervisor.
I had to call the store from my phone to get help. Jacob (shift lead) came back, requested the fill, and contacted supervisors, but Arya still refused. A security guard unnecessarily involved himself in a private medical situation and repeatedly suggested calling the police, despite no disruptive behavior.
I eventually reached Amy (district manager), who acknowledged this pharmacy has repeated issues, validated my concerns, and offered a $25 gift card with a promise to fill the medication the next day. While I appreciate her honesty, this location clearly has ongoing accountability and leadership problems. I will be transferring all prescriptions and won’t be returning.
Amy has my information and I do expect contact with resolution for getting all of my medications immediately transferred out of this location, in addition to contact from whoever is in charge of pharmacy, as it’s been made clear the pharmacy has no
accountability at the store level. I would also like to follow up regarding the security guard who repeatedly asked the employees to let him call the police on me, when no one asked for his involvement and the situation clearly did not require his involvement.
