  Worst experience I have had with a pharmacy. My doctor called in a few prescriptions for the end of winter. Every single month that I went in, the person at the register could not find the prescription in the system. Most of the time it took about 20 minutes for the actual pharmacist to come over and help to find the prescription. Other times the pharmacist could not help and the person at the register insisted that my doctor call the prescription in a second time. Sometimes my doctor could do that, other times he couldn’t. It ended up causing me a lot of pain and sleepless nights because the medications were to help with pain and sleep. I’d say about a quarter of the employees I dealt with were polite about the issue. The other 3/4 were impolite. There is nothing as irritating as when someone makes a mistake and tries to find a way to make it your fault. Another irritating aspect of dealing with this business, is that they will promise that something will be ready by a particular date and time. Often it is not ready on that date and time. I would come in to pick up a prescription on my way to work. When I got there, they would say that the prescription was not ready yet, but they were willing to fill it. So I would end up having to be late for work while they filled the prescription they had already promised the day before to have ready for me. Needless to say, I cannot do business with them. They are far too disorderly, and the customer service is impolite at best.

  The people who work here are very nice, and still understaffed. They are training new people and that is slowing them down. You can tell the regulars in line are annoyed. Recently, the tech and pharmacist called my insurance to get clearance and extra for an overseas trip. They even tracked down a medicine that has been on back order for a while. Now I won't run out in the UK! I don't think people realize retail pharmacy is not fast food. It can take time. It isn't oops, they put mustard on my burger instead of ketchup, I might puke. It could be, I got heart medicine instead of diabetes medicine...and my blood sugar bottomed out. I have been coming here a long time and most of the negative reviews started once they started training new people. I was never great at any job the first day, and I doubt anyone else was. You can tell the staff is trying their best, and they still are always helpful and kind to me. The lines are long, and a devoted cashier would help keep it moving so the techs can focus on other things.

  went to the counter and was told it would take 30-40 minutes. sat and waited for 45 minutes just to be told they actually needed a pre-authorization and that they were still waiting on it. would’ve gone home if that was the case initially. 45 minutes i’ll never get back. incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful. Sheri was also quite rude about the whole thing. I want to add in that the pharmacist herself was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Offering verbal support and alternative approaches I could take when speaking with the doctor to get things sorted out. Wish I had gotten her name, but she was great!

  2 stars is a gift to the person who was kind to me one time there. Otherwise avoid this pharmacy. Medication for my wife was supposed to be transferred days ago after much back and forth. When I called to follow up and spoke to the exact same person I was working with, they told me there never was a transfer, acted like I never spoke to them, and then told me they couldn’t help. Literally dealing with people’s health and medication and at least one person on the team could not care less if you are well while gaslighting you. But if you have to go here, avoid it during lunch hour and after 3pm. So basically just always avoid it.

  It’s a Safeway pharmacy, if something can go wrong, it will. Most recently a single dose of medication took them over an hour to fill when I was told twenty minutes. No apology, no explanation. I’ve selected same day delivery multiple times and still end up having to pick them up every time, conveniently when I’m sick and contagious. They claim my card isn’t valid but every time I double check it’s correct. I’m tired of expecting any better, I should know better by know, but I don’t have anywhere else to get my meds filled. so I’m stuck with these people. This one white woman here in particular is the worst of all of them, not only is she the rudest woman I’ve ever had the misfortune of interacting with, she’ll call you condescending pet names while accosting you for whatever she can find to nit pick.
