Unexpectedly bad blood draw experience. It seemed like one attempt, but when I got home I noticed two puncture points, and I’ve had significant bruising—my vein is still purple days later. This has never happened to me before. I had bloodwork here about a year ago and the experience was much better. I’m willing to give this location one more try, but if this happens again I’ll go elsewhere for future blood tests.

Had to do a blood draw. At the Safeway on Cornell. I think her name was Angela? Hope i remember right. She was very friendly and got my draw first stab. She was great.

Everything was super easy, from scheduling, location, and check-in with no wait time. Top it off with friendly, attentive staff.

I went to NW Cornell inside Safeway store. I was confused at first where to go until someone told me the place is at the back, going to their storage area of the store with a little door on the right. When you enter, it a decent place with some chairs lined up. They are prompt on the time. Angela was the person the draw blood. She is very warm and friendly. She makes me comfortable the whole time.

I was very dissatisfied with my visit. I had a 9am appointment with Angela.
- I followed instructions and showed up 15 minutes before my slot at 8:45am. In the waiting room it was me and a walk-in customer. At 8:57am Angela decided to take the walk-in customer before me.
- Then at 9:05am, a person with a 9:00am slot checked in and Angela proceeded to take that person next. Maybe I am wrong, but I think someone who showed up early and has been waiting for 20 minutes should be taken before somebody that showed up late.
- Then finally around 9:15am I was taken in. Angela could not find my records and stated that my organization (Function) had not sent my orders in. I was instructed to go back to the waiting room and contact a support rep. I did so and the support rep said that everything has been submitted electronically the day before.
- Then around 9:30am Angela took me back in and was able to find my records.
After all the issues - Angela was personable and nice, but I thought the handling of timing and records was not professional. It took an extra 30-40 minutes than it should have.
