DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU A AN ATIPICAL PAIN PATIENT. Most of the staff are wonderful however one of the main pharmists Cyndy (I'm not sure how she spells it) at first she seemed nice and like she actually cared but then when I transitioned to a more stigmatized medicine she's started asking questions. At first she seemed like it was just concern but then after being explained to why I take this medicine in such a weird dose and manner ( I have a feeding tube and need an instant release because all pills have to be an crushed before I use them) she then blocked my doctor and refused to allow me to get my ordered and pre approved med, that I have been on for months, that my doctor and palliative care team has been over multiple times, and decided that yes this is the right dose and type of med. But she just saw I was young and assumed I didn't need it. Finally my doctor was forced to put an extended release pill in because that was the only pill she would fill. A day later I was in full withdrawals, because guess what... There's a reason I'm on the med I'm on on the dose it is!!! I'm a highly complex paintent with a horribly painful condition. The last thing I need to make my life harder is a pharmist who has taken it on herself to block my life saving pain meds. Oh and here's the best part, after a few days I went in to pick up the correct meds, I was a few hours from full withdrawals but I was going to make it, but when my caregiver showed up they would not hand over the meds until I returned all the unused medicine. My caregiver had forgotten to bring it with them and I was at home about to go into withdrawals, they made my caregiver drive 20 minutes home, get the med, drive 20 minutes back and then 20 minutes back to me, causing me to be an hour and a half later because they had some idea Idk going to use the meds that put me in withdrawals or something??? This delay caused me to go into withdrawals for a SECOND TIME all because Cyndy decided that her 5 minutes that she's seen me in the store is enough to judge that I'm clearly fine and don't need my pain meds that I see my doctor and several other specialists for literal YEARS to figure out. This is such a gross misuse of a pharmacists law to refuse a med because they don't think it's safe for a patent. I don't look like a typcal pain patients because I'm not, that's why I have a literal team of specialists that spend months working with me to figure things out. Very disappointed in this blatant misuse of power on her part. I switched to a CVS of all places and I'm on literally twice the dose she was refusing to dispense with literally no problem. I know this is super long but I think any future pain patients deserve to know they aren't in good hands here and to go somewhere that will treat them correctly.

I've always had good experiences here. Friendly, fast, reliable, courteous and client-centered. They answer their phone and have helped me problem-solve lower cost solutions several times. I cross the city from North Portland to use them because they're that good.
