  It’s hard to walk here and hard to find items. Remove those island to the storage.

  The guy who checked me in was very dismissive and impatient. He told me that neither of my insurances on file covered the cost of the vaccine and I knew that wasn’t right. He told me I had to pay and I ended up paying for the full cost of the vaccine, and then once I got back to the room the doctor doing my shot ( she was great and very helpful) tried my insurance once and it worked and covered the full cost so they had to refund me. It makes me wonder if the guy even tried both insurances. I understand it’s probably stressful working at a pharmacy but you shouldn’t be messing up with peoples insurance!

  The staff at this pharmacy are great and always really nice and try to be helpful, but they are clearly extremely understaffed and Fred Meyer itself needs to implement better ways of queueing and tracking medication dispersal. In the past couple months I have dealt with wait times to get scripts filled go from 20mins to 6+ hours. I can almost always count on waiting an additional 2 hours after the time they told me to arrive before I actually get my meds. And more than once I’ve waited all that time only for them to inform me — usually after the doctor’s office has closed — that they don’t actually have that medication in stock or they have less than the full amount of the script. Fred Meyer should really have a system in place like every other pharmacy seemingly has that keeps track of the amount of medication they have in stock vs what’s in the queue.
