- AMAshlie MartinJan 27, 20261.0I’ve had multiple negative experiences with the pharmacy. A couple of months ago, I was in a panic trying to get an important medication filled and received little to no help. I was given the runaround and ultimately had to complete two separate prescription transfer requests just to get my medication filled at another location. Today was the final straw. My son has an ear infection, and our current pharmacy is out of the medication he needs. I called this Safeway pharmacy simply to ask if they had it in stock so I could attempt a transfer. The staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and rushed from the start. When I explained the situation, she demanded the exact medication and dosage. I told her I needed one moment to look at my son’s paperwork for the dosage— and she hung up on me! This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when dealing with sick children and urgent prescriptions. A pharmacy should be helpful, patient, and compassionate. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
