- BPBecca PriddyMar 6, 20261.0I rarely leave reviews. During the pandemic the pharmacist here refused to wear a mask, so I stopped going there. I don’t know how Safeway allowed an employee who is in charge of keeping people safe and healthy to expose hundreds of people every day. Fast forward 4 years, I started coming to the pharmacy again because it’s close to home. Today, my husband went to pick up an inhaler for me because I’m home sick with bronchitis. The pharmacist said to him “THIS is what you want?” Holding up a box, but with no explanation, which he found a little rude. Confused, he said “yes, I’m here to pick up 2 things” and she put a pill bottle and a box into the bag. Turns out the pharmacy didn’t include my inhaler, and didn’t tell my husband it wasn’t being included. There was no conversation about the missing medication from the pharmacist. When he got home I went to use my inhaler and it wasn’t in the bag. I had to call the pharmacy to ask why it was missing and only then did they tell me they didn’t include it because it wasn’t covered by my insurance, so I needed to call the urgent care clinic and ask for prior authorization. As for what was in the bag? A spacer for an inhaler that they didn’t even sell to me.

They really saved the day and filled my script in 15min right before closing on NYE after another pharmacy held the script captive for over 9 business hours. I almost don’t want to share how good this pharmacy is because I don’t want them to get inundated with people, but I’ve tried several Safeway pharmacies and this one is by far the best. 🎉
