This used to be a good pharmacy. Now they are always short-staffed and prescriptions are seldom ready when they say they will be ready. It takes anywhere from two to four days to have a prescription filled or even refilled and that is if the medication is in stock. Several of my medications have been out-of-stock on a number of occasions causing multiple trips to the pharmacy.Lately the auto refill function doesn’t seem to be working, either. So disappointing. Maybe hire some more staff Safeway? And fix the auto refill program? And keep enough stock of the medications that your customers must fill every month?

I just transferred my prescriptions to CVS. This Safeway always seems to be short-staffed when I am in to pickup a filled prescription. This last time I waited in line for 21 minutes before I gave up and left without the prescription. The entire time I was waiting, the counter person was having an obviously lengthy conversation with the same single customer. The line never moved. Maybe the conversation dealt with life-and-death medication matters. Maybe they were exchanging recipes…who knows. The point is, I have never witnessed a second employee go to the counter to help with the customers. Nor have I ever seen them ask a customer to step to a different window for more complex and time consuming issues so the simple-and-quick prescription pickup line can keep moving. Instead of continuing to be aggravated, moving to CVS seemed logical.

I've had the same prescriptions for a year and every single month I have to wait 4 to 5 days for them to fill my auto refill for my migraines this has to be the worst Pharmacy in any part of Oregon!! There's no point in offering Auto refill if you cannot actually refill it on time 12 months in a row!

They filled my prescription within the 30 minutes they told me it would take. The man who took my prescription even helped me find a coupon for a discount on my meds. Compare this to Costco where I waited 45 minutes only to be finally told they were out of stock! Costco may be cheaper but the service is terrible. I’m coming to this Lake Oswego Safeway pharmacy from now on.
