The first time I came to this pharmacy I was setting up accounts for my children and I. While I was standing there waiting I couldn't help but notice an encounter at the booth next to mine, between Neil the pharmacist, and an elderly man. Neil was raising his voice at him and scolding him in front of everyone. The elderly man was just confused about something and kept trying to talk, but Neil just kept interrupting him. It ended with Neil tossing medication on the counter in front of the elderly man and walking off. I should've taken that as a sign not to do business with this pharmacy, but I really needed to order meds for my disabled son.
I called the pharmacy a couple days later to see when the RX for my son would be ready - the lady on the phone told me they would "for sure be ready by 3:00." I got there at 3:15 and the lady (tall, big-boned, blonde with no name tag) gave me attitude and said it's not ready, you need to wait until you get a text from us." I told her I just moved here and didn't have texts set up yet, which is why I called. She then said, "it doesn't matter what you were told on the phone, you need to wait until you get a text from us." So I asked when it'd be ready, and she said "in about an hour." Another guy took over for her and helped me set up the texts. So I went back home and waited for a text. When I got the text that they were ready, my husband went to go pick them up. When he got to the counter and gave them my son's birthdate, the Asian lady told my husband there was nothing for him, then shooed him away. My husband called me and told me what was happening, so I forwarded him the text I was sent by them, saying the RX was ready. He then got in line again and talked to another lady (the tall, big boned, blonde lady I spoke to earlier) and she gave him attitude as well. She said, "weren't you just told we have nothing for you?" He then showed her the text confirming the RX was ready, and she finally went and got it. This pharmacy was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. After this whole experience we decided to change pharmacies and we switched that day.

I used Fred Meyer pharmacy in Bend for over 10 years. But the Klamath Falls location can't get their act together. They are far too busy and unfortunately can't seem to manage the load. They need to hire more people, or work on figuring out their operations. For example when I called on a Sunday to get an ETA on an antibiotic, they answered the phone and said "hold please" and then I was on hold for so long I got automatically transferred to customer service. Once I was transfered back to the pharmacy, they picked-up and said "hold please" and the cycle began again. No context, no "we're very busy but will be with you as soon as we can...". Just "hold please". This happened 3 times before a human finally picked up 15 minutes into my wait. I get it, they're slammed. And I understand that people that are actually physically present at the pharmacy would get priority. But the revolving door of pickup and hold again is pretty ludicrous after that many rounds. And it's not a phone tree issue, because clearly it's designed that way to prevent people from getting stuck too long on hold. A bit of multi-tasking or training on how to balance things operationally would really benefit this pharmacy and it's customers. There's a reason I took my business to Sky Lakes, even though they don't have the updated features like the app or auto refills. It's worth it to avoid this mess.

Worst Pharmacy I have ever seen. Turned prescription in on Friday and was told I could pick it up Saturday. I return Saturday to be told they lost it. After talking with the doctor's staff they found it and said I could pickup Sunday. Sunday I returned to find out the prescription was being filled in Portland and retunonday after one. Ili returned Monday and I was told it was now being filled there and it would be Four or five before it would be ready. I returned at four to find out only one of three was done and the other two would be ready Tuesday. Well it is Wednesday and I am still waiting for on prescription.
Additionally the staff are rude and toldly unhelpful. If you need to have prescription filled on Klamath Falls don't use Fred Meyer.

I am transfering my prescriptions from Fred Meyer to Sky Lakes. One two many times, I've been unable to get refills at Fred Meyer due to various excuses. My medicines are for life-threatening conditions and going without because Freddies can't keep them in stock are not an option. I hesitated to make the move because the people there are friendly and helpful, but I've been told "That is on backorder at the factory" or "our supplier is out of stock" one too many times.
