  Facility is nice and clean staff is super friendly, Dr surface answers all questions no matter how many you throw at him he makes sure the patient leave happy and healthy teeth

  Dr. Surface pulled my wisdom teeth and I am still in shock over the lack of pain I experienced. I didn’t even need pain meds the next day! I never knew it was possible to not feel a needle but I didn’t feel the injections at all! He is compassionate, fun and best of all VERY fast. I will be returning here for all of my dental needs. Thank you Dr. Surface and team for taking care of me.

  Sent my 19-yr old here after he was no longer able to see our pediatric dentist that we have been going to for 15 years. He had what he thought was a chipped molar. After seeing the dentist at South Hillsboro Family Dentistry, he was told he needed a root canal. That didn't seem right to us, so I contacted our pediatric dentist to see if we could get a second opinion since a root canal is pretty invasive and expensive. He was able to get him in and after reviewing the x-ray from SHFD he determined it was just a filing that had come out that needed to be redone. He did not need a root canal. Really disappointed that we cannot trust this dental office for further dental care for our son. Beware and get a second opinion if they tell you that you need major dental work.

  I recently had a distressing experience with this clinic that resulted in significant discomfort, time loss. After a routine cleaning, they told I need to filling for a cavity that was asymptomatic. After a week, thay teeth turning hurt so bad, and i had to back to check. Despite multiple follow-ups, the clinic's response was inadequate, only recommending pain relief medication without addressing the underlying issue. Seeking a second opinion from my old clinic that was close to my old house, I discovered the filling had been placed too deeply, affecting the nerve and need to make another treatment. The result was have to crown it. I am very upset with this situation. I am sharing my feedback to inform others and express my disappointment with the care provided. I want to emphasize the importance of thorough and patient-centered care in dental services and be more professional the way you are working!!!!

  I am one who has had traumatic experiences with the dentists in the past. I went in very nervously to get a repair from the damage done by a previous dentist. But came out very satisfied. The dentist and staff had the patience and time to listen to my concerns and treated me accordingly. The front staff is very cordial, their service is incredible, understanding and accommodative.
