I was with Walgreens for many years, and they always ran out of my medication, very short-staffed (often causing the closure of the pharmacy) and the staff was very rude. I am very pleased with the staff at Fred Meyer Pharmacy; they have been friendly, very helpful, and very understanding. Highly recommend this location!

I’ve been reading a lot of comments about how the people at the pharmacy don’t care. Let me tell you they do care. It’s corporate that doesn’t. I know this first hand. They do not care, it’s all about cutting hours to corporate. The pharmacist is responsible for not only their jobs, but now add in injections. And they need to counsel on all new prescriptions. And if your rx has no refills and they’ve contacted your dr and received a refill for you, they have to get pulled from what they’re doing to counsel you again because the refill has a new prescription number. The techs, they have to answer the phones, type all new prescriptions, put away freight, cashier, count and label prescriptions and so much more. The pharmacies with walk up or drive thru are the worst. Corporate wants you to cashier first, so if you only have a couple of people working and four cash registers, there is not enough staff to be efficient. Corporate told them people can wait for their prescriptions. The staff does care, they’re just so over loaded at all times, even when there is no one in line, they are still working like crazy to get caught up. The phones are the worst, just sign up to get text messages when your rx is ready and put your refill number in automatically over the phone without having to talk with anyone. If your rx starts with a number 2, contact your dr yourself. Be a good customer instead of a complainer about things you no nothing about.

This is my go to pharmacy! I have never had a problem. The line can be long at times. But it’s not the pharmacists fault, it usually lands on the customer getting misinformation from their doctor… I’ve been there. Also it’s not that hard to be a patient human. Thanks for all your service!

There isn’t enough space to write what I have to say about this pharmacy. I’ve never had more problems with a pharmacy than this one.My regular pharmacy which is Savon Pharmacy at Albertsons is the best by far never ever had a problem that they could not deal with, excellent pharmacy. The only reason I go to Fred meyer in Hillsboro on TV Hwy is because savon doesn’t carry the exact brand i need so I have to go to FM for that one perscription only. I’ll be checking other pharmacy’s to find one that Carrie’s what I need. This is my last trip to FM pharmacy every time seems like something goes wrong.

Not sure if the workers just hate their jobs or they are just as miserable in every aspect of their lives but they choose to take out that misery on the customers. Horrible service.
