Extremely slow lines, expect 30-60 minute waits at least as 1 person scrambles to try to find prescriptions. Many appear to be lost when I go. Communication is bad, they won't communicate, then they'll text you constantly, then not answer the phone, their voicemail obviously isn't accepting messages, they won't communicate issues until you stand there in line for an hour, waiting to talk to someone, who will then tell you whatever issue, and you'll have to come back. I have no idea how this is this bad. Pharmacies are a solved problem, hire someone else to grab a bag and hand it to people, there is obviously a demand, and your core demographic aren't quick movers.

Have been using this pharmacy for several years now. They do get very busy, and sometimes get behind on the vaccination appointment schedule, but they are uniformly hard working, kind and competent. I cannot imagine working in that tight windowless space with like 5 people in there all day, dealing with a constant line of people, some of whom are quite desperate. For example, myself and my husband last month when we discovered the meds they gave him in the hospital didn’t actually have refills even though they said they did—the staff totally filled the new Rx that night so we could get it in the morning. They have also in the past suggested generic substitutes when my GP had prescribed a name brand. Just allow extra time to vaccinations and know there is always a line after school/work hours.

Horrible! Made appointment for flu shots and had to wait 60 minutes before they even checked on us. I recommend Whitebird before Safeway 40th pharmacy.

I had to seek out a new pharmacy since my smaller one could not obtain a new medication from their supplier. After many calls, I was able to locate it at the Safeway Pharmacy on 40th. During a busy time during a holiday week they managed a transfer of my script, filled my prescription, successfully got a discount code applied after a call and some time, and were thoughtful and considerate every step of the way. Thank you! I know pharmacies are busy and you always treated me like a valued customer in this process. I will definitely use this pharmacy!

In my personal experience, the staff isn't friendly and they ignore you when you are waiting at the pick up counter. No hello or told that they will help out. But they did help me when I had a prescription they were waiting for my doctor to respond. By sending them notes that I was out of my prescription. I just wish the service from staff wasn't rude and cold.
