The dentist was kind and gentle with the fillings. I was out of the office in an hour. Two fillings with bonding to the front. My smile is restored! From being self conscious about the stains on the old bonds in the front teeth, and the signs of visible wearing down, showing where the bond and the teeth meet. It looks like my original smile! Thank you!

There was an entry on my treatment plan for "fluoride varnish" -- something that had not been done (to my knowledge) and I definitely did not authorize. The dentist came in to review my radiographs and reported a small cavity in one tooth. He immediately started with a sales pitch for a "remineralization" product. After some questioning, he finally admitted that this product contains fluoride. When I informed him that I do not want any fluoride in any form or application, he started doing a sales pitch on how "natural" fluoride is. I told him that arsenic is natural too, but I am not putting that in my mouth. After being pressed about an alternative product, he finally came up with a fluoride-free treatment. To me this is a sign of a bad dentist who is not keeping up with new research and techniques. The whole fluoride-based dentistry bit is a bamboozle from the 1940s. I am searching for a fluoride-free practice and will not be returning to this provider.
