  I never write reviews, because who even has the time, but Deen at the Valley River Center GNC deserves a massive shoutout for the customer service I received today. It’s also worth noting that Deen would be the last person on planet earth to ever ask for a shoutout because he’s just there to do his job, so I’ll triple down on this shoutout because he did it without any expectation of acknowledgement. It’s a late Friday afternoon and this fella fielded more questions about random supplements than any one human should ever have to answer in a single lifetime, and this guy stuck with me for 45 minutes straight with a big grin on his face and kept me company until I walked out the door with 3-4 bottles of supplements that I’d have otherwise never bought unless someone was there to explain the products to me and make it feel like an easy process. Deen is an absolute legend and if GNC is a good company that values hourly workers who simply do their job, work hard, and treat people incredibly well, even when it’s 6pm on a Friday afternoon, they’ll do something really nice for this great kid. A bonus, lunch, an extra dollar or two an hour, whatever it is. Deen made my day and his manager was kind as well, although I didn’t catch her name but shoutout to you as well. GNC, (I’m talking to the business), hourly work as we all know is super draining, and thankless, and nobody wants to be in a mall on a Friday afternoon - Take care of this lad. He’s a rare gem of a human.

  The manager/owner/whoever, AUDIBLY SIGHED when I asked about price matching. He made the experience very uncomfortable. He made it very clear to me, the customer, that he was upset with me for asking him to simply honor the store policy. Look dude, if your store has a price matching policy then honor it. If you don't like the policy then END IT!!! Don't make it the customer's problem. You did this same thing to my friend, so I know it's a regular occurrence.

  Sexist. Asked an assistant for recommendations for acne support and he said “we are not a beautician” , although they have memory support supplements, lung support supplements, excuse me for assuming they have something for the largest organ on the body. And to make matters worse, Rolled his eyes when he went back to his coworker. I’ll be ordering my things from anywhere but here, as I was a frequent customer before.
