Coming from the headache that is Walgreens pharmacy, Safeway has truly been a breath of fresh air. It’s nice to have a set staff and pharmacist, rather than the deal with the revolving door of new faces that Walgreens cycles through monthly. The Pharmacist is very kind and well versed in all things drug related. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and keeps up to date with the latest information, meds, and drug interactions. The staff is always courteous and work hard to get scripts filled in a timely manner.
It’s been 6 months since I chose to transfer all my family and I’s scripts to Safeway and I wish I had done it a lot sooner! It has been a huge a source of relief to not have to stress about when or IF I’ll get my meds each month, as Walgreens never seemed to keep up with their stock supplies of basic/common medications. I highly recommend this location in particular to anyone who is looking for a competent and reliable pharmacy that actually care for their patients’ wellbeing.

This pharmacy is clueless on customer service. 3 months ago, I received a text that one of my prescriptions was ready. I asked about the others. They asked if I wanted them refilled, I said yes, I normally have them refilled all at the same time. Well, you are not set up for it. I said I was, what changed, Update to their system. They said they would update and it will be all the same next time. Well next time has come, I get one text, for 1 refill. They tell me that now I do not have any refills, do I want them to call the doctor. I am lost for words. The lady just talked so fast, does not
listen. Its like my fault.
I am moving my business else. never once have they ever said sorry. must be nice to have so much business that you can treat customers this way.

These people don’t care about their patients. They constantly lie about being out of stock even when other stores call ahead of time to confirm they are in stock they somehow become out of stock stock again in the 20 minutes it takes me to get down there. They are also rude and are very inpatient.

They have a new system! New faces although I will miss the good staff that retired. The new staff are doing a good job.
