Dr. Kent Burnett is such a friendly, helpful, and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him. He is very approachable, patient, and takes the time to answer questions and make you feel at ease. You can tell he cares about his patients. I think the best thing about him is his demeanor--he is not intimidating or condescending at all, and very knowledgeable about dentistry! His staff are also great. I've had wonderful interactions with the front desk staff member, Ashley. She is great at explaining everything, talking through insurance coverage, and scheduling--both over the phone and in person. She's also really patient, which is helpful. I haven't had all positive interactions with every single dental assistant, but they're great for the most part (I had one talk about politics while she was cleaning my teeth, which was uncomfortable and felt inappropriate because I didn't want to talk about politics and couldn't respond because she was flossing my teeth; I also noticed that other dental assistants will frequently interrupt my appointment to ask Dr. Burnett a question, which I found disrespectful).
When I come in for general cleanings, I wish I had more time to talk to Dr. Burnett and ask him questions, but when he fixed a filling for me, he did take the time to make sure I had everything I needed and felt supported, answering all of my questions.
The clinic is small and it's a very intimate atmosphere, which is like. I feel very calm and comfortable here.
Overall, a great dentist. The only pause I have is that there are no people of color who work here. The facility also closes during lunch, so I've had to wait outside during this time.
