They had fun together and got her shopping done too. It was a big relief for my husband and I too. Thank you to the team at Home Instead Bend! We are grateful for you!

Most of the people sent out have zero actual training with the specific needs cases they are presented with. The caregivers have all been a delight, but the office, local management and national "leadership" are out of touch and failing not only their employees, but their clients. It's really sad that a nation-wide organization like this is unable to train their staff very well. They all receive the minimum required licensing and nothing more. No CPR, no First Aid. One of the people they sent could barely walk with my mom for 2 blocks (walking with mom was one of the TOP needs I presented them). Staff can be rotated and you may have zero recourse. I would NOT trust my loved ones with this outfit, but if you're OPI or OPI-m, this is your only choice it seems in rural Central Oregon. We deserve better.

Sometimes it doesn't work out very well, and they are quick to fix those situations! They are very flexible with your schedule, especially if you have another job or school schedules they work around.
