Meh. The manager of this place, Robin, is really sweet. But the owner ain’t great. Also the staff can’t help you with anything regarding your account, you have to reach out to Robin or the owner for anything. This place is EXPENSIVE; you will pay a premium to ride a stationary bike here. I was okay with that because I really enjoyed the atmosphere and music they play here; it’s like you're at a club … but getting drunk on fitness. I also really love a few of the instructors that lead the classes. But that’s where all the good things end. The owner wouldn’t replace the washer that broke here so they started charging their members for towels; you have to buy one yourself if you don't bring one to class. This place has to be a cash cow, you pay a premium to go to this place to workout, the least they could do is provide towels. This place already has few amenities as it is. There aren't any showers here and it smells like a Sephora when you walk in - they pump the place full of some kind of perfumed air freshener. But the real kicker and the nail in the coffin for me, they told me to wear a dirty pair of cycling shoes because they didn't have any more clean size 7s available - they told me they only have a certain number of shoes in each size. Which is ridiculous to me. Why would you have the same number of size 13 shoes as size 7 shoes? Size 7 is much more popular than a size 13. Stock more popular sizes! They told me they could spray down the shoes with sanitizer for me but that they'd be wet and my skin would be exposed to the cleaning agents. They tried to sell me a pair of shoes instead, which are also sold at a premium. Why do I have to pay for a pair of shoes when I am a member and you provide the use of shoes at your gym?? No thanks. I had to wear a DIRTY pair of shoes that someone had sweat in minutes before or I wouldn't have been able to join the ride and would have had to forfeit my ride that I'd already paid for. I was so grossed out! This place does not care about its members; the owner is money hungry.
To the owner that recently replied to this review: this isn't a new review; I didn't just recently write it. However, today, I did make edits to it. Thanks.

Shady billing practices. If you sign up online there is no disclaimer in the contract that binds you to a 3 month membership yet they tried to hold me to one. I had to contact their legal team to be released from this contract. FYI that class packages expire within 30 days.
Response to owner: I’ve provided one star feedback to 6 other businesses including Shell and Holiday Inn (not small businesses). It’s unfortunate you’re okay using questionable billing policies. Hopefully you learn from this experience.

Original review: It is against the law to ask for people's personal medical history.
Revised review: After a phone call to Cyclebar Bend they revised their policy about asking for proof of vaccine and I couldn't be happier. My medical information is mine, and mine alone, and will certainly be attending class, plus spreading the word to friends! Thanks Cyclebar for being an incredibly upstanding business!
