  I’ve known Daniel for the past few years as the manager of Physiq Fitness in South Salem. He does an outstanding job. What impresses me most is that he addresses members by name and gets to know them on a personal level. I have been a member of a fitness club for over 30 years and I can honestly say he has provided me with my best experience thus far. A true professional that takes pride in his job. It has been my pleasure getting to know him and watch him grow in his career. Physiq is fortunate to have him.

  I’ve been a member of Pysiq for almost three years now, and I’m thrilled that it’s finally open 24 hours! I split my time between the Salem and Albany locations for work, and the staff at both are always friendly, smiling, and helpful. The manager, Daniel, has assisted me with my account a few times, and he’s always been super kind. I occasionally work out at night, so it’s reassuring to have a male staff member in the facility during those hours. The gym is spacious, the cardio classes are fun, and the music selection is great especially on the days my headphones die! 😊

  Ive been coming to this gym for close to two years now. Aside from a clean facility thats well maintained, its the atmosphere and the staff thats kept me coming back. Not gonna lie, it took me a little while to get comfortable enough to open up to the patrons around me even though everyone was nice enough, but once I let my walls down it made my experience that much more, and it feels like family when I come in, and that has done a lot to boost my mental health. The staff, too, has become part of my inner circle; not just because theyre kind to me, but because I see them treating everyone with dignity and respect. It goes beyond learning people's names, I hear them having deeper conversations with people as well, showcasing their love for job and consumer. Please pay little attention to the recent rash of negative reviews of this place. Some folks cant handle being held accountable and try to burn a place to the ground in their anger; however, let that be a reflection of the unsatisfied consumer and not one of the facility, because this gym is full of warmth and kindness, professionalism and dedication to your health goals. I strongly encourage you to come in, bring your other half and the kiddos, and make the time to invest in yourselves, both in and at, the best place possible.

  Not only does the gym seemingly have a history of continuing to charge EX members after cancelled memberships, but more recently a staff member crossed many lines when he called police ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARILY to remove a member who was not only minding his business on the bags, but was using them safely in way that follows gym rules (no bare knuckle) and has not been a problem in the past. Not only is it crazy that the police were called, but it seems this was a complete surprise and no prior warning had been given. That makes me feel extremely uncomfortable about the type of management they choose to employ. This is not the way to run a business.

  I’ve been coming here for about two years, and honestly, the staff has always been amazing! They’re friendly, helpful, and super easy to talk to. But today something really unexpected happened. A staff member I had never seen before actually called the cops on one of the clients 🤔. I was so confused, so I went to the front desk to ask why the police were there. One of the regular staff members told me he didn’t know because he hadn’t been around when it happened. Omg! So I started asking other clients what was going on, and someone told me that the guy (the one who got kicked out by the cops) was boxing without gloves—and that’s why they called the police! 😂 Seriously?! All of us clients, including me, thought the situation was just ridiculous. I’ve seen that same guy boxing so many times before, and he’s always been respectful and polite. This whole thing just made no sense at all. 1:47 pm
