I had such a great experience in this location. Big thanks to Olivia and Haena! They were both incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable while helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. They really took the time to understand what I was looking for and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Even the rest of the staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I truly appreciate the excellent service all around. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience with Luba at LensCrafters! My dog had bent one of the arms on my glasses, and I thought I’d need a full repair or replacement. But Luba was amazing—she fixed them for free and had such a positive, upbeat attitude the whole time. She was super helpful, kind, and clearly knows what she’s doing.

This review refers to the 33 Bloor St East Location: Extremely poor quality glasses! I was rushed into making a purchase by the sales clerks, who assured me that my glasses would take no more than one week to be shipped. Yet, I waited for more than five weeks to receive my glasses and the store never informed me they arrived at their location for pickup (I had to call myself to inquire whether they arrived). Most importantly, they were given to me in extremely faulty condition! After very normal use for only one month, the arms of the glasses broke off because they were weakly in place. Additionally, I contacted the company’s customer service via their submission form and never received a response. If I were you, I wouldn’t consider purchasing your glasses from this branch!

I had an extremely disappointing and frankly shocking experience at this optician. I arrived just 7 minutes late for an appointment with Dr Kalindi Patel, booked for my nearly 80-year-old mother-in-law, who has mobility challenges and was already uncomfortable due to eye pain. Despite calmly explaining the situation, the staff showed absolutely no empathy or flexibility. We were bluntly told we would have to wait two hours. There was no attempt to accommodate an elderly patient, no effort to assess urgency, and no basic courtesy in how the situation was handled. The complete lack of compassion was honestly more upsetting than the inconvenience itself. Healthcare-related services, especially those dealing with vision; should prioritize patient care, not operate with this level of rigidity and indifference. A 7-minute delay, given the circumstances, should not result in such an unreasonable outcome especially for an 80 year old who was visibly struggling with the weather and everything else which I also mentioned. Good thing that Toronto has tons of options, will definitely not be using this one.

I had an excellent experience at LensCrafters Yorkville thanks to Lucci! From the moment I walked in, Lucci was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. She took the time to understand my needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to come across such outstanding customer service. Professional, patient, and personable all at once. Lucci truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend visiting this location if you’re looking for great service!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
