I had a very disappointing experience at Warby Parker at Yorkdale and honestly regret giving them a second chance.
My boyfriend initially purchased prescription glasses for me. When they finally arrived, the vision was completely off. Everything looked distorted and almost cross eyed. It was not clear at all and felt very uncomfortable to wear. During the measurement process they used a marker to mark the lenses instead of using modern measuring equipment, which already felt outdated and not very precise.
After that experience I went to LensCrafters with the exact same prescription and the difference was huge. The lenses were clear, sharp, and high quality right away. That confirmed for me that the problem was not my prescription but the way Warby Parker made the lenses and the overall quality.
I returned the first pair but decided to give them another chance and ordered prescription sunglasses. Before the sunglasses were even ready, I received my glasses from LensCrafters and realized the quality was on a completely different level. Better lenses, brand name options, better service, and similar pricing. I decided to cancel the sunglasses order.
The refund process has been an absolute nightmare. My boyfriend paid with debit, and instead of processing the refund right away like most stores do, we were told it would take a few days. A week passed with no update. We had to call several times and kept getting passed around between departments. The employee who helped us said he would handle it, but another week went by before we even got an email saying our banking information was being sent to the financial department. This should have happened from the beginning.
It is now February 25 and we still have not received our refund of over four hundred dollars. A store located in Yorkdale Mall should have a much more professional and efficient refund process. They take payment instantly but returning money is slow and frustrating.
My honest advice is do not pay with debit if you shop here, and be aware that the lens quality may not be what you expect. I personally would rather spend the same money elsewhere for better quality and better service.

It was my first time coming to Warby Parker and I was helped by Zaki, who was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He helped me select the low bridge fitting frames, gathered the necessary information for my prescription, and explained all the perks of Warby Parker. I highly recommend stopping by and making a purchase here!
