I had such a wonderful experience at LensCrafters! I would like to especially mention Yan, who came over to help us. He helped us choose sunglasses based on our interests and was incredibly kind and charming throughout the process.
I would also like to thank Ayesha, who assisted us with the billing even though it was close to closing time. She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions (even the silly ones!), and was so patient and kind.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely recommend LensCrafters to others!

This was my second time buying glasses at the same Eaton Center store. Both times this year I was served by junior staff; they were lovely and attentive. However, their lack of preparation and training is evident. My service took almost two hours even though I had a doctor's prescription. This happened because the staff member kept stopping to ask questions of other employees, and all the other employees in the store didn't want to help her, they had no patience with her, and everyone was focused on their own individual results. I believe this is the fault of whoever manages the store. I went to speak to the manager at the end of my purchase to give this feedback, but he didn't pay any attention to me

Although my eye exam was a great experience, I can't say the same for filling out my prescription here.
The lady that filled my prescription wasn't warm and welcoming at all. Her demeanor was very pretentious and cold, trying everything to get every dollar out of me that she could.
When my glasses were finally ready, picking them up was a similar experience. I went to the counter and the man asked for my name, which I gave to him. Then he asked if I received an email, which I showed to him, then he asked for my name again. He asked me to sit down, but it wasn't busy so I thought I would stand and wait, since I thought it wouldn't take long. He stood there, I stood there. A lady on the floor asked if I needed help, I said I was just waiting for the guy to get my glasses. About 10 minutes in, I finally sat down. Then the guy called the lady over and told her I was picking up glasses. I don't know if this was some kind of power tripping move, but it wasn't professional at all. Then he walked to the back somewhere while the lady got my glasses, which took less than a minute for her to do and I was out of the store.
I will NOT be coming back to a LensCrafters again to fill out a prescription. First, and last, time with this business. I'll be going back to where I've had my glasses done before. I have never felt so unwelcomed and belittled by service people.

Disappointed with the Service and Customer Care at LensCrafters (Yonge–Eaton Centre, Dundas)
I don’t recommend this LensCrafters to anyone planning to buy or get repairs done here. It seems like they only prioritize customers who are making new purchases.
I bought my eyeglasses from this store at Yonge–Eaton Centre, and after a few months, they became loose. When I went back to ask for a simple adjustment, I was told it would take a long time because “each staff member has designated customers to assist.” I understand they can get busy, but they should handle these situations more politely and professionally.
What made me feel even worse was when I asked one of the older staff members if she worked there—she said no, but I later found out she actually did. That really affected my trust in their customer service.
I hope this store trains its staff better on how to communicate with customers and treat everyone with respect, especially those who have already purchased from them.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
