Got an eye exam and a pair of glasses. The store manager Soni was incredibly friendly and helped pick out a pair of glasses that fit me!

I had such a great experience here. The staff were so nice, patient, and helpful from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and the service was honestly 10/10. I felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Had an appointment and checked in on time. Ended up waiting several hours with no updates, despite staff seeing me multiple times. I was asked to keep waiting without clear guidance. Eye exam results were not provided afterward, and there was strong pressure to add paid lens options when I was already exhausted.
The optometrist was professional and the only positive part of the experience.
Overall, poor communication and time management.

I’ve been trying to order glasses online since August 2025, and I’ve been stuck in an email thread where no one has been able to help me. I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails and haven’t received any response. It’s now December 30th. Customer service is extremely poor.

Dr. Karlin was amazing. My disappointment came from the people at the eyeglasses store. They were only nice to you when you’re looking to buy eyeglasses but when it came to Pick-up time they don’t care at all. Got ignored for a long time. Asked for adjustments but was declined, there was no other customer in store.
They also upsold me some things without even explaining. Gave me polarized lens without even telling me and they just put everything on their tablet, then told me to pay. I did not need polarized lenses, I would rather have my lens thinner than polarized. They made me pay more for polarized lens without explaining anything, didn’t even tell me the lens cannot be made thinner if they are polarized. Now I’m stuck with sunglasses as thick as a brick.
The sales rep who was working was playing what seems to be an online gambling game (maybe a slot game?) on his phone while we were there. Left his phone unattended on the table and we could see the game.
I will not be coming back to this store.
Frequently Asked Questions About For Eyes By Clearly
How do I know if my child needs glasses?
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
