Staff was very friendly and as attentive as they could be, they could use some extra staff to manage volume and wait times. However, the overall experience was amazing, the deals are really good plus they accept school insurance. Got two super cute prescription pairs for $149!!

I loved my experience at this specsavers! Kanwal initially helped me and was so patient while I took 2 hours to choose my frames! I got 4 pairs and they took care of sending the claim over to my insurance company, I did not have to worry about that at all which was great! I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great customer service and a great experience! Thank you!

I recently visited Rexdale location browsing for glasses. Got to meet Kanwal and Suru there. Really impressed by the way they helped me understand the pricings and how my benefits can be used for getting my eye exam and prescription glasses. Overall, I liked the customer service in this location. Exceptional dedication towards service. Will visit soon again with my family.

I took my mother (age 95y) to SpecSavers for an eye exam. The optometrist was very patient and thorough, taking extra time to test and re-test different lenses to ensure the correct prescription. The new eyeglasses are working out very well and one of the findings from the eye tests resulted in a referral to a retinal specialist. The optometrist kindly helped coordinate the specialist visit and it was completed very promptly. As a result of this positive experience, I went for an eye exam myself. Again the optometrist is superb and did a very thorough exam. There was a miscommunication when my corrective lenses were ordered but the staff at SpecSavers were eager to help put things right. The store manager reached out to me directly to arrange a time to meet in person so that he could help me out. He went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. It has ultimately been a very positive experience and I have no doubt that I will be returning to this SpecSavers again in the future.

I visited the shop on Nov 30 for an eye exam and requested to use my own frame for new glasses. I was initially told the wait time would be about 2 weeks.
On Dec 19, I called to follow up and was informed that the order was still under process. I was then told that since I used my own frame, the timeline was actually 2–3 weeks and that I should wait another week.
After checking my receipt and realizing it was already the third week, I called again to clarify. At that point, I was told it usually takes 3–4 weeks and was asked to wait yet another week.
I understand delays can happen, but the changing timelines were confusing and frustrating. Clearer and more consistent communication about turnaround time would have been appreciated.
Update:
Dec 29, Monday.
I called the clinic again to follow up on my eyeglasses after being promised on December 19 that it would be ready before Christmas. Not only are they still not ready, but it have apparently been relocated to the British Columbia office — a detail that keeps changing every time I call. I was told to wait again, now until Friday. At this point, the repeated delays, shifting explanations, and missed timelines are beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable.
