Bright lights from cars and streetlamps were basically a fireworks display. Went back and explained the issue, and was told I had to pay an extra $40.00 for anti glare coating to resolve what is, in my opinion, clearly a manufacturer problem. Up until now nothing but great experiences, maybe just don’t buy safety glasses from specsavers.

- AEA EOct 25, 20251.0Beware of this company as they have experienced a data breach that they are not telling the public about. In April 2025, several customers had their information stolen from this company. This included health card information, credit card information, personal information, including gender, address, birthdate, and other sensitive information. It took this company six months to notify some customers that have been affected, but they are trying to keep it quiet from the public eye. If you want your information to be stolen, then you’re welcome to use this company. Otherwise I would steer very clear and go to a more reputable company that actually cares about the sensitive information they are gathering from people. In all honesty, why does an eyeglasses company need to know the birthdate and SIN number of a customer? It’s ridiculous. Please be forewarned! This is a very serious matter and should be taken seriously. They are taking absolutely no accountability or offering solutions. This is despicable, and this company should be shut down and put out of business for their negligence. In addition, the glasses that were purchased from this location were of the cheapest quality possible. They lure people in with cheap prices and then show you a small rack in the corner with those prices. You are forced to pay more for any kind of respectable quality and even then the glasses are likely worth about six or seven dollars. Within six or seven months, both nose pads fell off, and the arms are extremely loose and rickety, despite having the screws tightened. The quality of glasses at this location are subpar.
