Narjis the assistant manager is a doll. She helped me for hours a few weeks ago get everything together and then when I had an issue with insurance, she said she would put it Aside. This was after me being there for at least a few hours. She must have helped me try on over 50 frames. I walked in today, two weeks later, and she immediately remembered me. Another associate was helping me take my measurements and cash out (She had blonde hair and was Eastern European, and to be honest was not that friendly and felt a bit abrupt and irritated with me.) However, I went up to the front to talk to Narjis about my particular situation with insurance, and at the last minute, wanting to consider a few different frames… She did not hesitate to help me. She immediately understood what I was looking for, and did not even question me for a second even if it meant redoing some of her work. I apologized 1000 times for being a pain in the butt, she never once seemed annoyed, irritated, or rushed. I have a uniquely narrow face, so I was trying to juggle multiple requirements at once and given my ADHD and OCD, things like this can be so overwhelming that you give up and don’t go back. She really helped me feel not stressed… Not like I was annoying her… and in the end, she helped me make the decision, so that I could move on and be done. I am a firm believer in positive feedback. I did have encounters with the employee mentioned above and somebody else at that store (Who seemed to like she may or may not be the manager.) I will be honest, those two interactions were unpleasant. I am not a very high maintenance customer. I am very apologetic and aware that I have a scattered brain… And had it just been for those two, I probably would not have gone back and gone somewhere else. However, Narjis was so wonderful in every way and accommodating, kind, listened well to my needs and adapted, etc., that her action and behaviours ALONE, made me go out of my way to write this review. Moving forward, when I need new glasses, I will absolutely go back to her, and her alone.
She even remembered the frames that I was going to get as a second pair, that I did NOT end up getting. That tells you that she pays attention. Since I may or may not be insulting her boss up above ( I think the manager was the woman I met the first time,) whoever reads this, should give this woman a raise, a promotion, a bonus, all of the above. In my professional experience, and my personal experience, I am very adept at reading between the lines, and noticing the things that other people do not notice, at seeing the characteristics that makes someone successful; this woman should not be taken for granted. She single-handedly saved this store a customer. One who has been wearing glasses from LensCrafters for the past 30 years. Kudos to Narjis for taking pride in her work; not because she is being observed, but because she has standards for herself. I hope you read this Narjis. Thank you. It’s the little things, that some people don’t even realize, that make the biggest difference to others’ lives.

I bought 2 pair of Rx glasses in July ‘25 - 1 clear, 1 sunglasses. I’ve been very happy with my purchases. I returned to the store today for a repair (I lost a screw). A friendly employee happily fixed it for me, in 2 minutes. No charge!

High Price Does Not Equal Quality at LensCrafters
I purchased two pairs of expensive Versace frames and, as the salesperson assured me, high-quality lenses with protective coating. After five years, the coating has started peeling off on both sides, which now requires full lens replacement. I want to clarify that the lenses are not scratched — the coating is simply separating from the surface.
To my surprise, I later found out that the warranty is only two years.
In my opinion, LensCrafters’ lens quality does not match the premium price they charge.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
