  We had a wonderful experience with Home Instead. The office staff were fantastic to work with—flexible when we needed to pause support during a hospital stay and ready with care as soon as my mom returned home. Communication was excellent; we always knew who was coming and when, and any schedule changes were shared promptly. The consistency of caregivers allowed my mom to become comfortable and familiar with the people supporting her. When our needs at home changed drastically in a short period of time, the Home Instead team adapted quickly and continued to provide compassionate, reliable care. The added help with light housekeeping was such a gift and made our days easier. We’re deeply grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and steady support. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone in need of quality, compassionate home care.

  I was extremely impressed with Home Instead. My elderly parents were experiencing a crisis and we needed assistance to come to their home during the night. The staff quickly mobilized to provide a personal assistant within 2 days of my initial contact. Communication was smooth and clear. I highly recommend this service.

  Home Instead services provided 8 hour per day, 7 days per week support worker support for Dad who was elderly and frail, allowing Dad to be able to stay in close contact/proximity with Mom, in a retirement home setting. Dad was quite frail. Management provided excellent support and communication to Dad's primary care giver, regarding any difficulties or concerns regarding changes in health status - both physical and psychological,, provider availability and any other issues that arose. If issues arose, support staff communicated to management and discussion took place with primary care giver to discuss the situation and arrive at solutions to correct and improve quality of life for both Dad and support workers. My only concern was that Dad enjoyed some support workers much more than some others. It was difficult to have provision of care supported by the workers Dad enjoyed, consistently and regularly. I can understand that this request was difficult to achieve due to support worker staff availability vs client needs.
