- HTHeather ThomsonJan 30, 20261.0I used to get my glasses here when it was the other place. I was excited that they now had an optometrist on location now that it’s a specsavers. I made a 1240 appointment on a Friday Everyday I received reminder emails and text messages the week leading up to my appointment and a phone call the day before. Messages kept saying come 10 to 15 minutes early. I arrived at my appointment on time 12:40 and 45 minutes later I was still waiting to see this optometrist! Good thing I didn’t bother to show up early. I was trying to get in and out over my lunch hour and order a couple pairs of glasses. Maybe instead of sending me so many appointment reminders you should have sent them to the optometrist. Who ever does the scheduling for these appointments needs training. For a private medical service that isn’t covered by OHIP or run by our government I expected better. This type of service is not going to get you repeat customers.I won’t be back.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
