  Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices. They get busy there with the great prices, so we as customers should remember our patience for other customers also being served. And respect for the staff, they are doing great! Thank you Clarissa!

  Everyone at Specsavers was super kind. I had lost my glasses in an accident and was eager to get a new pair, but was dealing with some insurance issues. They were very understanding and helped ease the whole process!

  My husband recently had an appointment in this place, and the staff attention was great, we were lucky to meet Clarissa she was very professional, kind and friendly a huge help for us. I will definitely recommend this place.

  Extremely Disappointed I am leaving one star because there is no option for zero. I called this clinic to clarify vision coverage for my mother, who receives Ontario Works. During the call, Tara — who identified herself as the owner — told me that Ontario Works and OHIP are the same thing. They are not. OHIP covers certain medical eye exams (such as diabetic exams). Ontario Works covers vision benefits like glasses for eligible recipients. These are separate provincial programs. Instead of answering my questions respectfully, I was met with a dismissive tone and attitude. I was simply trying to understand coverage for my mother. No one should feel spoken down to for asking about government benefits. It was especially disappointing to learn that this response came from the owner. Professionalism and accurate information should start at the top. I hope this clinic takes patient communication more seriously moving forward. Update: In response to the owner’s comment, I would like to clarify that the store has not been in touch with me. I initiated contact myself and did not receive clarification or follow-up. I have now submitted a formal complaint through Specsavers’ customer service form (Ticket #RCC1224536) and am awaiting a proper response.
