Thank you to Raul who saved my favourite pair of glasses. On Nov 10’25 I stepped on them, mangled one of the arms, looked to see how I could fix them and decided to take them to the professionals. Raul greeted me, listened to what happened, advised me that, while he could make no guarantees, he would do his best to help. As he was assisting other people, he told me it would be about twenty minutes so I sat down to wait. The next thing I knew, Raul emerged from the back of the store polishing the lenses of my specs with the newly straightened arm. I stood up and said ‘No way’ called him a genius, asked how he did it and about the fee. Raul answered all of my questions and replied, the same as the last time I needed help, that it was part of the service. I told him that I had bought them at this very store, along with a few other pairs, and that these remain the most comfortable pair I own. Then, like the last time, I donated to your OneSight charity. But Raul knew none of this when he helped, a telling measure of his character. I hope Raul will be recognised for his wonderful client service as I’m sure there are many more examples. Regards, Maureen
PS Revised date of visit. It was Nov 10th not Nov 11th

I’ve been buying my glasses here for over 10 years. I like the huge selection of frames and have had great customer service. No one has ever been pushy, they let you browse in peace but are available if you have questions. Prices are comparable with other glasses stores, and they often have good sales. The opticians (Sophia is particularly good) take their time and when I have needed adjustments they’ve always been very willing and helpful.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with LensCrafters has been incredibly disappointing.
I placed an online order that took over a month to be delivered because it got stuck in the system and I had to follow up three times before it went through. When the glasses finally arrived, the lenses were chipped. Trying to return them has been a nightmare. The first location I visited said they don’t take online returns and sent me to this location. This location then said they can only do online returns Monday–Friday, then Monday comes and they tell me they don’t handle them at all. I’ve been sent in circles with no real help.
It honestly feels like I’m being given the runaround and no one wants to take responsibility. On top of that, when I tried calling customer service for help, the line was “unexpectedly closed” during their regular operating hours.
I am not sure if I would have received better customer service had I shopped in store but this entire experience has been stressful and unprofessional. I will not be shopping from LensCrafters again.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
