We have been providing families with an in home care option in the Ottawa region since 2004. Our services are currently non-medical and focus on the companionship side of care. Our company excels at Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, and our caregiving staff go through specific training to work alongside those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. With over 100 caregivers with varying backgrounds and experiences, we can accommodate specific requests from our clients. Our services include Companionship, Transportation, Personal Care as well as 24 hour or Live-In options. After her fall I would spend the night there and the day there! She needed help until she was stable. The head nurse recommended Home Instead. It was a life saver. They had someone available right away! I was able to go home at night and have great sense that she was not alone! I would highly recommend Harriet- she went far beyond what I expected! One of the nights my mom was rushed to the hospital and Harriet actually went in the ambulance with my mother and waited at the hospital until a family member arrived.
