We had an exceptional experience working with Sahil. He is truly one of the best consultants I have dealt with. Sahil was incredibly professional, calm, and patient, never hesitating when we asked for changes in our selections. What we appreciated most was his expert eye; he provided tailored recommendations on which frames suited our face shapes and helped us narrow down our choices with ease. His expertise made a typically overwhelming process feel smooth and enjoyable.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at LensCrafters.
We had an appointment scheduled for 10:40 AM and arrived at 10:48 AM, which is within the 10-minute grace period stated in your policy. The receptionist told us she would check with the doctor. At 10:50 AM, she came back and said we would need to reschedule.
When I politely mentioned the grace period policy, the receptionist responded rudely and said, “I don’t want to argue with you.” There was no attempt to resolve the situation, no explanation, and no professionalism shown. We were left with no option but to walk away.
If policies exist, they should be applied consistently. Even more importantly, basic courtesy and customer service should not be optional. This experience was frustrating and unnecessary, and it’s not what I expect from LensCrafters.

We’ve been shopping at Lens Crafters in the Oshawa Centre for years. We have loved the service and continued to go because of this. Ever since they moved into the new location with all new staff we’ve had nothing but problems. The customer service is atrocious. We will not be returning. They couldn’t honour the insurance policy I paid for. They don’t call back when they say they are going to. They don’t even call when our glasses our ready. I’ve called and the agents are clueless. Don’t waste your time or money

It was my first time using Lens Crafters and I was extremely impressed with the service. From the very beginning Zahra was patient and listened to me needs and preferences. I never felt rushed which is important as I was very tired and glasses are a big deal. There was an issue with my insurance and she took her time to get it sorted. I really appreciated her kind assistance. 12 out of 10 for her.

Prescription was wrong but they corrected it free of charge my only issue is they used to give hard cases and a fibre cloth for wiping your lenses with each purchase . This time I did not receive either and the case for the glasses was a cardboard box with the glasses in a fibre bag to protect them from the cardboard. If you accidentally sat on this case your glasses are done for . While in the past they actually gave you a case that was hard and coukd take a beaten. I’d still recommend them even though they’ve gone cheap on the cases but they should start to give fibre cloths for each purchase again. They’re cheap when purchased in bulk.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
